About my teaching practice…

My training and experience in Yoga, Reggio-inspired Early Childhood Education and Arts-Integrated Education inform my approach to teaching. Through my educational offerings I aim to foster growth in all areas of child development and elevate the field of Early Childhood Education.

I’m deeply inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach to Education, especially as it relates to the value of shared social learning and responsive listening as empowering practices for all ages in all learning contexts- school, home & beyond.

I’m a proud graduate (MA’22) of the University of Colorado’s Innovative Early Childhood Education Master’s program; during Spring 2025 I returned to the program as a Teaching Assistant for the social justice course Children and Teacher’s as Change Agents.

I’m a member of theNew Mexico Reggio Emilia Exchange (NMREX) and highly recommend checking out their amazing work! The organization supports educators and families across the state and provides great resources for all, regardless of location.

My personal Yoga practice is ever-evolving and my teaching integrates all aspects of Yoga—philosophy, movement, breath work, meditation, and mindfulness. My heart-centered approach is shaped by Yogic wisdom, creative expression, and the rhythms of nature, cultivating a practice that fosters deep awareness and connection. I completed Yoga Teacher Training through Wild Lotus Yoga’s Soul School in New Orleans in 2020 where I focused on Vinyasa, Bhakti, Tantric and sound-based practices, and earned certification in teaching Restorative Yoga in 2023. I’m certified as a Children & Teen’s Yoga Teacher, and as a registered Yoga teacher (E-RYT 200) and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), I have nearly a decade of experience teaching Yoga to all ages. I’m dedicated to honoring both the seen and unseen, embracing Yoga as a sacred practice that bridges the physical and the mystical.
